This one is hard to answer until we know what the homeowner is envisioning. Kitchen remodels vary greatly. Some homeowners choose to have any combination of new flooring, new paint, tile work, new countertops, and new appliances. Others go a step further and replace lighting, add built-in seating, incorporate a custom wine cabinet, and more. During our consultation, we’ll listen to your ideas and wishes, and give suggestions when needed to stay within your budget.

The biggest difference is the coverage. A pergola is open-framed and latticed to allow spotted lighting from the sun. A covered patio is just as it sounds, it is fully covered and provides full shade to your patio. Pergolas are often used on backyard patios or gardens. They can be attached to another building or free-standing, whereas covered patios are almost always attached to your home.
